Der gebürtige Niederländer René Van Kann, Graffiti-Meister seit mehreren Jahrzehnten, lebte lange Zeit in Melbourne. Er studierte Kunst an der Federation University Australia (Ballarat) sowie am Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne. Er arbeitete für Firmen der Kunst- und Graffiti-Industrie und hat zahlreiche Graffiti-Bücher, -Projekte oder –Veranstaltungen unterstützt.
